Landmarks and History - Stillwater Bridge

Stillwater, MN



Built in 1931, the Stillwater Bridge is vertical lift bridge that crosses the St. Croix River, connecting the cities of Stillwater, MN, and Houlton, WI. One of the few surviving examples of this type of bridge architecture, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
