Places - Marine on St. Croix

Marine on St. Croix, MN

The quaint village of Marine on St. Croix was founded in 1839 on the site of the first commercial sawmill on the St. Croix River. The General Store, built in 1870 and pictured on the left, is still in operation to this day. And the Village Hall, built in 1888 and pictured on the right, is said to be the oldest village hall in the state that is still in use for serving a local government.
